I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT, WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Gatherings

Our main weekly gathering happens on Sundays at 11am and finishes around 1:30pm, the doors open at 10:30am and we'd love to see you early to connect with you. Whether you are young or old, married or single we believe everyone will have a great experience with us. We also have a variety groups that meet across the week to encourage you in your walk with Jesus. Our meetings are live streamed, if you have any worries about being on camera please speak to a member of the welcome team on arrival and we will allocate you to a seating area not covered by the camera.

Casual & Relaxed|We're Family

Come as you are. We 100% believe that the core of church is FAMILY and we understand that entering a church for the first time is a frightening experience but we expect you to not only feel welcomed as our guest but to know that you can come in as you are and feel at home. After the meeting we have free tea and coffee available, as well as a coffee shop, so please hang around and get to know us.

Music & Message

Each weekend gathering includes worship, ministry and an engaging message from our Lead Pastor Rich Rycroft or from our Team of Pastors, as well as guest speakers. We do not take an offering during the meeting but we do have offering boxes situated in the hall that enable people who want to give to all that Hillfields Church do, we now have means to receive card payments as a more convenient way to give. Please if you are a visitor do not worry about giving, you are our guest and we want everyone to feel inclusive of the meeting and never to feel obligated. We also have communion as we feel led to do so in our main meetings as well as some of our programmes.

For My Kids?

We have a kids ministry for Creche age, juniors and youth. We run an open creche throughout the gathering (which is hooked up to the main meeting audio and video so you won't miss anything). We also have an excellent team of volunteers who take our kids (Juniors and Youth) out for the second part of the meeting. We take your child's safety very seriously because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Kids Church programmes the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the kids church. Don’t worry, after your first visit, checking in will only take a minute. Our kids stay in the meeting for around 45/60minutes to enable them to engage and worship with their parents after which they will be in supervised groups.
