Man this preach was so good, there was so many great points that I got from it so heres some i thought I'd share with you guys.
The whole message was based around 1 Samuel 14 and about sticking to what God is saying. A statement that really spoke to me was that God Redeemed us, Restored us and then we mess up but the cycle continues. He doesn't give up on us, and He never leaves hanging.
"God isn't looking for perfect, He is looking for obedience."
When we are faced with decisions we will never know whether it is God or not until we "stick our neck out" and try. It's always a case of MAYBE GOD. We cannot let the fear of failure stop us from stepping out and having a go because maybe just maybe God is asking you to trust Him. There will always be an element of doubt when making tough decisions but Proverbs 3:5-6 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths". We may not always understand what God is calling us into but if we trust in Him, He will direct us to where we need to go.
"In our weakness, He is strong"
The more we stand for God the more the battle will come but when we have God on our side we will always be the majority. With God you will come out of the battle, you may have battle scars but will you always be VICTORIOUS. Sometimes the battle seems really hard and like there is no way out, everything can seem broken BUT in a moment God can turn it all around.
"Stick your neck out, I Am with you."

Yeah Amen Tash! This was a fab sermon.
I was reflecting on this with some of the guys the other day about how God sometimes speaks to us.
Sometimes God speaks in a very small voice… a ‘MAYBE that was God’ voice, that only after we respond in faith, obey and stick with it, gets louder and more clear. Faith, obedience and perseverance is essential. It’s because God needs something to work with - He wants a relationship. He meets us in our faith and He wants us to partner with Him. I have only learnt though trial and error - mostly error (!) - before I could begin to recognise when God speaks. But it is when we…
